If required and at the sole discretion of the Arbitrator, witnesses may be examined. For such examination the arbitrator shall ask witnesses of both parties to upload their statements onto the technology platform.
Such statements shall be accompanied by a self-certificate or attestation or undertaking in the form prescribed by the Cadre Rules.
The party not producing the witness, shall be entitled to ask counter questions to a witness by way of a counter – interrogatories. The witness shall file its reply to the counter interrogatories by way of an additional statement. Each such statement shall be accompanied by a self-certificate confirming the authenticity and truthfulness of the statements made by the witness.
