Manish is a law graduate of Symbiosis Law College, Pune with 12 plus years of varied experience and has been associated with multinational corporate groups and law firms since beginning of his career and having significant experience in his area of practice which includes litigation, corporate and commercial, power and infrastructure. He holds certificate course in “Competition Law and Intellectual Property Rights” from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce andIndustry (FICCI) and “FIDIC Conditions of Contracts” from FIDIC.
He has vast experience in handling substantive legal matters of multinational companies and their commercial transactions including disputes in various fields viz. drafting and reviewing agreements, advising on legal issues and leading the parties in their disputes before various judicial or quasi -judicial forum. He has been associated with infrastructure giants AECOM and LANCO along with leading power producer Azure and has led their regulatory,
transactional and litigation matters.
He is also well experienced in handling matters of banking and financial institutions, real estate companies, media production houses, hotels, non-governmental organisations, societies and alike. He also holds experience in cross border transactions and represented and assisted foreign and Indian companies in their inbound and outbound investments and other deals. Further, he has handled several joint venture transactions and also has experience in
restructuring and due diligence of corporate houses. Manish has also handled major real estate developments and holds good experience in malls/multiplexes/hotel licensing and compliances. Further, he has been involved in several arbitration proceedings of corporate houses including litigations thereof before the High Courts.
At present, he is a partner at The Precept- Law Offices and is heading the team specialising in general corporate and commercial matters along with energy and infrastructure sector.
Manish has successfully attended the training and cleared the exam to be a Cadre Certified Arbitrator.
